ohkkay I haven't been on here in a while. I have been stressing out lately. Im at the stage in my trip where I hate everything Japanese. I joined the badminton team which is like crazy retarded difficult. (did ya follow that?) anyway after my first practice it rained and of course since im in japan i had to bike my way home. the next day my throat was halfway closed and i was extremely sore. It was just awful and my voice was completely gone. Now im getting much better...
I beginning to get really annoyed by my little siblings. They are sooo bad and disrespect my host mom soo much. Like yell and her and hit her. And all she does is just sit there. On the application thingy they said that they were a neat family. NEAT?!! yeah right. My siblings, Ayaka and Toku, cough and sneeze all over the house and then help mom prepared dinner. Grosss. Without washing their hands. Super Gross...
I just want to seriously beat them. Its nooo discipline in this house. I thought Japanese kids are very disciplined. I guess i was wrong wayyy wrong. *huff* I need someone to console me.

This is Megan. I gotta figure out how to join this blog!Re your siblings' behavior - maybe its because they are boys they are indulged?Maybe life gets more demanding when they get older? Clearly you are getting over some of the stereotypes or pre-conceived notions you had about Japan! I'm sorry you were sick - everybody here is worried that the swine flu is coming. Also everybody is having colds, including me! Did you mom make you hot tea with lemon? Hope you are feeling better today. MEgan
ReplyDeleteHoney, it ain't just Japan. o_O
ReplyDeleteThere's a breakdown of child discipline around the world. xDDDDD My nieces are something else, I gotta say. Love 'em, can't stand 'em. <3
I hope that you feel better, chi. Good luck and take care of yourself. Be strong, I'm sure that phase will pass. ^^ I could see myself going through it if I were in your situation. I'd probably be like super anxious because there'd be nothing to remind me of home. At least in the states, you can recognize something from your home state in another. That in itself is comforting. But now that you're in another country, it's like there's nothing really to remind you of home... except clothing labels and Engrish?
But don't worry. You'll come to love Japan for what it is soon enough. I'm sure! ...you better. xDDD
